Dear Friends,

Earlier this afternoon, we were advised by House leadership that lawmakers would be voting sometime this evening on part or all of the House Democrats’ proposed state operating budget. Unfortunately, this vote is set to take place at the same time we had scheduled tonight’s telephone town hall.

Since Rep. Hayes and I need to be on the House floor to vote on your behalf, we are canceling tonight’s event and rescheduling it for next Thursday, April 6 from 6-7 p.m.

The phone number to call is still the same: (425) 616-0578. Once connected, you’ll be able to listen in and press * (star) on your telephone keypad to ask questions.

You can also submit questions in advance through the link below. As time permits, we will read them on the air during the telephone town hall and respond.

We are sorry for this inconvenience, but it’s important for us to be on the House floor to represent you during this very important vote.

It is an honor to serve you in the state House.

Warm Regards,

Norma Smith
