Reps. Smith and Hayes to hold telephone town hall February 28
Reps. Norma Smith and Dave Hayes are inviting residents of the 10th District to participate in a telephone town hall meeting Thursday, February 28. The community conversation begins at 6:30 p.m. and will last an hour.
Residents can participate by calling toll-free 1-877-229-8493 and entering PIN number 14881. Once on the line, participants may select star 3 on their telephone keypads to ask a question or they can simply listen in and take part in instant polls. There will also be an opportunity at the end of the call to leave a message for Smith and Hayes.
“The Legislature is considering job creation measures, education reforms, transportation proposals and other issues,” said Smith, R-Clinton. “It is important we receive input from constituents on these difficult issues, and it is a great opportunity to connect with residents spread out across our legislative district.”
“I am eager to participate in my first teleforum and speak to the Tenth District citizens I represent,” said Hayes, R- Camano Island. “I look forward to gathering input from citizens on the wide range of issues we are dealing with in Olympia.”
